Nakata headlines Japan quake charity match
"We are happy to have secured Nakata's services," Kitchee boss Ken Ng Kin told the South China Morning Post. "He has been very busy playing in a number of charity games and has to change his schedule to come to Hong Kong. Nakata will wear jersey number 80 as the match is also part of the club's 80th anniversary celebrations."
Fashion-conscious footballer-turned-businessman Nakata played in Italy's Serie A before ending his playing career at English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers in 2006.
Villarreal, who have secured a fourth-place finish in Spain's Primera Liga, will feature two members of Spain's 2010 FIFA World Cup™-winning team - Joan Capdevila and Carlos Marchena.
Proceeds from the game will benefit charities dealing with victims of Japan's 11 March earthquake and tsunami, which left thousands dead or missing and many more.
