Germany and Uruguay, who faced off for third place at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, are due to meet again in an international friendly on May 29 next year.

Germany took the honours in South Africa in July, beating the South Americans 3-2.

Before their next Uruguay encounter in the German city of Sinsheim, Germany have also scheduled in a friendly against Italy in February ahead of the resumption of qualifying for UEFA EURO 2012 in March.

Germany are leading Group A after wins in their opening three qualifiers, with Austria and Turkey three points adrift.
