Mainz duo impressing coach Low
Low left the pair out of his latest squad selection, but he has predicted a call-up in the very near future after seeing them both in action as Mainz extended their winning start to the season to seven games.
"Schurrle is incredibly quick, cheeky and great at dribbling," he told Sky.
"With Holtby I think you only need to see the first goal and how he set it up - that was pure class and was worth the entry fee alone. Therefore, I think both of them are going to go a long way. Their time will come."
Mainz also seem to have a bright future ahead of them after winning once again yesterday.
They host Hamburg in a fortnight's time looking to break the record of consecutive victories at the start of a Bundesliga season, and coach Thomas Tuchel sees no reason why they cannot carry on winning.
"We were once again able to focus on our opponents and not on other things," he told ZDF. "I have to pay the team a huge compliment for this.
"The team is playing extraordinarily well and we will carry on like this. Our first objective remains avoiding relegation. We still need another 19 points to do that."
