Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that he has no intention of quitting the Blues, even if the Italy job becomes available following the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
Speculation has continued to mount that current Azzurri boss Marcello Lippi is set to step down after South Africa 2010, with Ancelotti one of the favourites to take over.
However, the former AC Milan and Juventus coach, who only took over at Stamford Bridge in the summer, has said he will not cut short his time at Chelsea.
"The Azzurri coach next year certainly won't be me," Ancelotti told Italian daily La Repubblica. "I am Chelsea coach, let's see how this beautiful adventure will end."
Ancelotti did however reveal that he would love to delve into the international scene one day, saying that "the idea of being a national team coach is really tantalising for me".
