Fletcher fit to lead Scotland
Assistant coach Paul Hegarty today confirmed Scotland will have a fully-fit squad available for Saturday's friendly against Wales in Cardiff.
There were some concerns Darren Fletcher could be doubtful for the encounter having missed training on Wednesday, but the Manchester United midfielder returned to the fold today.
The news will come as a big boost to manager George Burley, who has already seen Craig Gordon, Kevin Thomson and Steven Whittaker withdraw, while Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney were unavailable for inclusion before the squad was named.
"Everyone's fine," said Hegarty. "We had a full compliment of players this week and we've had a full squad which is great to see and great to have.
"Obviously when the manager and Terry (Butcher) meet up with the players, you want the full squad to play and train and that's what has happened."
On Fletcher, he added: "Everyone knows how good a player he is; he's playing for one of the best clubs in the world and he's come on leaps and bounds over the last two or three seasons.
"What he's done for his club is exceptional and what he's done for Scotland - he's been excellent as well."
