Mesard Nada's late goal gave Kuwait a 2-2 draw against China in Sunday's friendly match as both sides stepped up their preparations for the upcoming 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

Kuwait took the lead three minutes before the break when Bader Al Mutawa sent a neat pass to Abdullah Al Buraiki who scored with a powerful shot past Chinese goalkeeper Yang Zhi.

China levelled the scores 10 minutes into the second half through Zheng Long, who was first to react after Kuwait goalkeeper Nawaf Al Khaldi let the ball run loose.

The Chinese took the lead four minutes later when Han Peng headed home, but Nada equalised for Kuwait one minute from the end with a header from a corner.

Kuwait will host Indonesia on Saturday in Group B of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, while China will visit Beirut where they will be playing against Lebanon on the same night in Group D.
