Japan number one Seigo Narazaki has been ruled out for at least ten weeks after undergoing surgery on a broken finger.

The 33-year-old Nagoya Grampus goalkeeper suffered the injury as his ninth-placed team recorded a 3-2 win at Gamba Osaka in the J. League on Sunday.

Japan are set to face Netherlands and Ghana in friendlies next month in Enschede and Utrecht after already securing their place at next year's 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, with coach Takeshi Okada expected to name his squad for the double-header on Friday.
