French international defender Willy Sagnol was back in training with Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Tuesday for the first time in six months after a knee injury.

The 30-year-old, who has 51 caps for his country and played in last year's World Cup final, injured his right knee in a Champions League match with AC Milan last April.

Bayern, who have a two-point lead at the top of the table, take on Premier League side Bolton Wanderers in the UEFA Cup on Thursday and are away to defending Bundesliga champions VfB Stuttgart on Saturday.
