Lanus strolled to a 3-0 win at Newell's Old Boys to continue their impressive start to the Clausura on Sunday.

Silvio Romero opened the scoring after 14 minutes and an own goal from Marcos Caceres three minutes before the break made it 2-0 at half-time.

Mario Regueiro added a third from the spot four minutes after the restart, meaning Lanus have scored seven goals and are yet to concede in their first two Clausura outings.

River Plate also made it two wins out of two with a 1-0 victory over Estudiantes thanks to David Trezeguet's 32nd-minute strike.

Goals from Juan Cobo and Jacobo Mansilla gave Quilmes a 2-1 win over All Boys, who pulled one back through Oscar Ahumada (84) before having Francisco Martinez (87) sent off.

The day's other game, between Tigre and Boca Juniors, ended goalless.
