Will Bruin scored twice as the Houston Dynamo defeated the Chicago Fire 2-1 in the opening round of the MLS Eastern Conference play-offs on Wednesday.

Bruin netted after 12 and 46 minutes, before Fire sub Alex replied eight minutes from time.

The result sets up a semi-final against Kansas City, with the first leg taking place on Sunday at Houston's BBVA Compass Stadium.
