League leaders Tijuana were held to a home draw by Cruz Azul in the Mexican Apertura yesterday evening.
Mariano Pavone gave Cruz Azul the lead after just four minutes, but Pablo Aguilar equalised on 19 minutes and Duvier Riascos put the home side in front from the spot midway through the second half.
However, Alejandro Castro made it 2-2 with quarter of an hour remaining and Tijuana were unable to find a winner.
In the day's other game, Jaguares enjoyed a 2-0 home victory against Puebla, with Leiton Jimenez scoring just seconds into the second half and Jorge Rodriguez eventually sealing the win in the last minute.
