Apertura leaders Club Tijuana opened the door for Toluca as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Santos Laguna thanks to a double by Daniel Luduena. Luduena opened the scoring after eight minutes, only for Greg Garza to equalise 20 minutes later.

Duvier Riascos completed the turnaround in the 68th minute, but the lead lasted only four minutes before Luduena grabbed his second to ensure the points were shared. The result means Tijuana lead second-placed Toluca by two points having played a game more.

A further two points back are CD Leon after they beat Tigres 2-0. Matias Britos got the opener in the first minute of the game and Nelson Maz added the second nine minutes before the break.

Omar Bravo scored twice as Cruz Azul jumped above Santos into fourth with a 3-2 win over Queretaro. Bravo's two first-half strikes, sandwiching Diego Vera's 30th-minute reply, ensured the hosts led 2-1 at half-time.

Mariano Pavone struck just before the hour to extend the advantage, before Luis Landin scored in the 71st minute to set up a nervy finish.

Substitute Jeronimo Amione's late double rescued a point for Real San Luis in a 2-2 draw at Atlante. San Luis built a two-goal cushion through Luis Mendoza's goal in the first minute of the match and Noe Maya's in the 61st.

But Amione, a 67th-minute replacement for Sergio Napoles, netted in the 82nd and 90th minutes to ensure the spoils were shared.
