Benfica moved three points clear at the top of the Portuguese Liga with a 2-1 success at home to winless Beira Mar.

The visitors took a shock lead through Vincent Sasso after just five minutes, but Benfica eventually pulled level in the 59th minute with a goal from Maxi Pereira. Rodrigo then completed the comeback two minutes later to preserve Benfica's unbeaten start to the season and leave Beira Mar still propping up the standings.
