Western Conference rivals the Colorado Rapids and the Los Angeles Galaxy played out a 1-1 draw in the day's only Major League Soccer game on Sunday.

Marcelo Sarvas drove in the opener for the visiting Galaxy from the edge of the box after 10 minutes.

But Jaime Castrillon turned in Hunter Freeman's cross six minutes later and neither side could find a winner.
