CJ Sapong's last-gasp goal ensured the Major League Soccer Eastern Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City drew 1-1 at home to Houston Dynamo.

Brad Davis had put Houston ahead in the 58th minute and the visitors were on course for a surprise victory until Sapong struck to help Sporting go four points clear at the top of the standings.

In the Western Conference, goals from Robbie Keane and Christian Wilhelmsson gave Los Angeles Galaxy a 2-0 win over the Colorado Rapids.
