A stoppage-time penalty from Colin Clark helped the Houston Dynamo end a four-game winless streak with a 1-0 victory over Real Salt Lake at BBVA Compass Stadium last night.

Clark smashed his penalty down the middle in the 91st minute after Macoumba Kandji had been fouled by RSL goalkeeper Nick Rimando.

It was second time lucky from the spot for Houston, with Rimando having saved a 75th-minute penalty from Brad Davis.

The triumph moved the Dynamo up to third in the Eastern Conference standings, and left RSL seven points behind the Western Conference-leading San Jose Earthquakes.
