Former France defender Alain Roche has ended his long association with Paris Saint-Germain.
Roche played for the capital club between 1992 and '98 and, following his retirement in 2002, returned to the Parc des Princes as part of the backroom staff.
He has been in charge of recruitment, overseeing the captures of such players as Javier Pastore, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva since the club's takeover by Qatar Sports Investments prior to last season, but the club confirmed today he has left his role.
A statement on PSG's official website read: "The club would like to thank Alain Roche for his investment in and loyalty to the club, during his playing career and also during the last nine years as an administrator."
Roche added: "It is the end of the adventure, but I want to say I have spent some marvellous times with the club and I will remain a passionate PSG supporter. I wish the club much success in the future."
