Elfsborg were frustrated in their attempts to move clear at the top of the Allsvenska table as they played out a goalless draw with Djurgarden.

The result leaves Elfsborg with a one-point advantage over Malmo, while AIK are now five points off the summit following a 1-0 victory over Mjallby. The visitors left it late, though, with Robert Ahman-Persson scoring the only goal from the penalty spot five minutes from time.

Marcus Danielsson also netted in the 86th minute as GIF Sundsvall snatched a 1-1 draw at Kalmar. The home side had Archieford Gutu sent off 10 minutes into the second half, but still managed to take the lead after 71 minutes through Pape Diouf.
