Diego Forlan has dismissed reports linking him with a move away from Inter Milan.

The 33-year-old striker moved to the San Siro last summer from Atletico Madrid, but endured an injury-plagued campaign.

Brazilian side Internacional have expressed an interest in signing Forlan, provided the former Atletico Madrid star terminates his contract with Inter, which runs until June 2013.

"For the time being I have a contract with Inter and in the next few days I will return to Italy," Forlan told Inter's official website. "The media reports linking me with a move to Internacional are just rumours."

Forlan, who is also a reported target of Corinthians, scored two goals in 22 appearances for Inter last season.
