Elfsborg saw their lead at the top of the Allsvenskan table cut to three points after a 1-0 loss to Malmo. Math Ranegie's 63rd-minute goal was enough to separate the two sides as Elfsborg slipped to only their second defeat of the season. Victory lifted Malmo above Hacken into second.

Gefle remain in the bottom two after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Djurgarden. An own goal from Martin Broberg on 18 minutes put the visitors in front, but Djurgarden equalised through Ricardo Santos ten minutes before the interval.

GIF Sundsvall pulled away from the foot of the table with a 2-1 victory at GAIS. Goals from Johan Eklund and Ari Freyr Skulason put GIF in the driver's seat, while Mervan Celik netted the home side's reply after 36 minutes.

Mjallby and IFK Gothenburg played out a 1-1 draw with Erton Fejzullahu's 25th-minute opener for the hosts cancelled out by Robin Soder after 52 minutes.
