Panathinaikos closed in on a place in the UEFA Champions League qualifying stage after maintaining their place at the top of the Greek Superleague play-offs with a 1-0 win at Atromitos.
Sotiris Ninis scored the only goal of the match on 65 minutes as Pana moved onto 11 points, two clear of nearest challengers AEK Athens.
AEK are now the only team that can deny Pana top spot after a 2-0 win at home to nine-man PAOK Salonika in the penultimate round of fixtures.
PAOK began the match as Pana's nearest challengers but their hopes of reaching the Champions League were ended as goals from Nikos Liberopoulos (33) and Leonardo (85) saw the hosts to victory.
PAOK's misery was compounded by the second-half dismissals of Pablo Garcia and Giorgos Fotakis.
