Runaway Swiss champions Basle enjoyed another memorable day as they thumped FC Zurich 5-1.

Even falling behind to Oliver Buff's sixth-minute opener could not derail them, as they promptly hit back through a quickfire double from Xherdan Shaqiri - one of them a penalty. Valentin Stocker then made it three after the break, before a brace from Marco Streller rounded things off, with one of those a spot-kick.

Elsewhere, relegated Sion twice came from behind to beat Grasshoppers 3-2. Steven Zuber got the visitors going, only for Cristian Florin Ianu to level from the spot after 15 minutes.

Zuber again scored seven minutes later, only for Didier Crettenand (28) and Yerly Danick (50) to win it. The day's other game between Servette and Lausanne Sports ended goalless.
