Jiangsu Sainty missed the chance to move to the top of the Chinese Super League today after going down 3-1 at Guizhou Renhe.

The visitors remain a point behind Guangzhou Evergrande after goals from Dino Djulbic, Rafa Jorda and Zlatan Muslimovic condemned them to their first defeat of the season. Cristian Danalache netted the sole reply for Jiangsu.

Third-placed Guangzhou R&F could have also gone top with a win today but they lost 4-2 at Shanghai Shenxin to stay level on points with Jiangsu. Anselmo netted twice for the home side with Jonas Salley and Wang Yun also on target. A Davi penalty and a late Rafael Coelho strike was all Guangzhou could muster.

Changchun Yatai and Qingdao Jonoon played out a goalless draw while Hangzhou Greentown picked up their first points away from home this season with a 2-1 success at Shandong Luneng - Mazola netting the winner with eight minutes to go.
