FC Basel moved a step closer to wrapping up the Super League title with a 3-0 win away to FC Sion.

Alexander Frei scored twice in the second half, either side of Markus Steinhofer's first goal for the club, to secure a comfortable victory for the runaway league leaders.

In the day's other game, FC Zurich beat Lausanne Sports 2-0 thanks to goals from Scott Sutter and Asmir Kajevic. Lausanne had Alexandre Pasche sent off in the closing stages.
