FC Copenhagen remained six points clear of Nordsjaelland at the top of the Superligaen after both secured victories on Sunday.

FCK thrashed ten-man Koge 5-0 to keep their advantage over Nordsjaelland, who beat Silkeborg 2-1 at home, intact heading into the final seven games of the season. FCK were already leading through Thomas Kristensen's sixth-minute opener when bottom-placed Koge lost midfielder Adeola Runsewe to a 31st-minute red card, and there was only ever going to be one winner after that.

Cesar Santin doubled the visitors' lead in the 59th minute and Solvi Ottesen, Mostafa Abdellaoue and Pape Diouf added further goals in the final 19 minutes.

Nordsjaelland, meanwhile, scored either side of half-time through Patrick Mtiliga (45) and Soren Christensen (54), with Silkeborg only managing to net a 90th-minute consolation from Thorbjorn Holst Rasmussen.

Third-placed Horsens also picked up three points today with a 2-0 home win over Brondby, Martin Spelmann and Johan Absalonsen netting the goals. In the day's other match, Sonderjyske defeated second-bottom Lyngby 4-0 with goals from Connor O'Brien (41 and 79), Lasse Vibe (51) and Tommy Bechmann (82).
