Lucerne were held to a goalless draw at FC Zurich today to leave
Second-placed Lucerne's draw means they are 16 points behind Basel with only six matches remaining. Basel also have a game in hand and it appears to be only a matter of time before they are crowned champions for a third successive season.
In today's other match, Servette and FC Sion played out a 2-2 draw in which three of the four goals were scored in the final three minutes.
FC Sion had led by Sebastian Wuthrich's 16th-minute goal heading into the closing stages, but looked to have had victory snatched away from them as Servette first drew level through Ishmael Yartey's 87th-minute penalty and then went ahead through a 90th-minute goal from Daniel Soares.
However, the visitors salvaged a point when Servette striker Goran Karanovic put through his own net to level the score up at 2-2.
