Velez Sarsfield's attempts to go second in the Clausura table were scuppered when their match at San Martin San Juan was abandoned because of crowd trouble while they were 3-1 up. A Cristian Grabinski own goal gave Velez the lead in the 32nd minute, but Facundo Affranchino levelled a minute before the break.

Substitute Leandro Velazquez re-established the visitors' lead ten minutes from time and Lucas Pratto grabbed a third five minutes later, but in the 87th minute the referee called a halt to proceedings when fans invaded the pitch.

All Boys pulled themselves into sixth place in the standings, level on points with Estudiantes, as they won 2-1 at basement boys Olimpo. Mauro Matos put the visitors ahead after seven minutes, but Nestor Bareiro equalised 15 minutes later. Martin Zapata struck in the 68th minute to claim the points for All Boys.

Facundo Parra scored twice to help Independiente to a 4-1 win over nine-man Racing Club. Racing took the lead through Teofilo Gutierrez in the 27th minute, but Parra levelled nine minutes later, then scored from the spot in the 59th minute after Bruno Zuculini had been sent off.

Gutierrez then became the second man to see red, before Patricio Rodriguez and substitute Patricio Vidal padded the hosts' lead in the closing moments.

Two first-half goals from Emmanuel Gigliotti lifted San Lorenzo to a 3-0 victory over Godoy Cruz. Substitute Christian Chavez added a third eight minutes before the end.
