Basel are on the verge of their third successive Swiss Super League title after a 2-0 away win over Lausanne tonight.

Alexander Frei opened the scoring on 66 minutes and Kwang Ryang Pak made sure of the points with the second three minutes from time.

The victory extended Basel's lead over Lucerne to 17 points and means they can seal the title with victory over their nearest rivals on Saturday.
