Suwon reach summit after Gwangju stall
Suwon Bluewings climbed to the top of the K-League standings thanks to a 2-0 home victory over FC Seoul.
First-half goals from Hyun-Beom Park and Stevica Ristic proved the difference between the sides, lifting the Bluewings one point ahead of Gwangju FC after five games.
Gwangju were held to a 1-1 draw by Gangwon FC, and will consider themselves fortunate to have grabbed even the one point after Myung-Jung Kim's 42nd-minute strike looked to have set the visitors on course for the win until Bogdan Milic's last-gasp equaliser.
Elsewhere, Jeju United's 3-0 triumph at bottom-of-the-table Daejeon Citizen moved them up to third, Dong-Hyun Seo on target either side of a Junior Santos penalty.
Finally, Incheon United and Gyeongnam battled out a goalless draw which saw both clubs advance to four points.
