Manisaspor gave their Turkish Super Lig survival hopes a boost as Isaac Promise's brace earned them a 2-0 win over Mersin Idmanyurdu today.

The Nigerian striker opened the scoring 20 minutes from time and scored his second goal in the last minute to seal a win which leaves his side just three points adrift of Antalyaspor, who were defeated 2-1 at Karabukspor.

Ilhan Parlak scored twice in the first 14 minutes to put Karabukspor in control, and Mehmet Boyraz's reply on the half-hour mark was the only response Antalyaspor could muster.

At the other end of the table, third-placed Besiktas had to come from behind to draw 1-1 at Orduspor. Substitute Eduardo De Oliveira cancelled out Bogdan Stancu's opener. Finally, Bursaspor also came from behind at Eskisehirspor, Sebastian Pinto levelling after Omer Erdogan's own goal, while strugglers Samsunspor and Gaziantepspor finished goalless.
