Lee Dong-Gook scored twice as Jeonbuk Motors opened their K-League campaign with a 3-2 win over Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma.

Lee scored in the 14th and 18th minutes to put the hosts in control, but Everton Santos netted either side of the break to bring Seongnam level. Eninho then struck eight minutes from time to earn Jeonbuk the win.

Ulsan Hyundai also started on a winning note as Kang Min-Soo's goal on the stroke of half-time earned them a 1-0 success at Pohang Steelers.
