Lucerne missed the chance to go second in the Swiss Super League as they were held to a 0-0 draw away at basement side Lausanne Sport.

Young Boys' draw with leaders Basel on Thursday night had opened the door for Lucerne to overhaul them, but instead they had to settle with moving level on points - six adrift of Basel, who have played a game less.

The point leaves rock-bottom Lausanne still seven points adrift of Grasshoppers, who lost 3-1 at Servette thanks to a pair of late goals.

Grasshoppers were ahead in the 52nd minute through Daniel De Ridder, but Servette levelled four minutes later through Ishmael Yartley, and then snatched all three points through late strikes from Goran Karanovic and Silva Eudis in the final two minutes.
