Lille striker Moussa Sow has signed a four-year deal with Fenerbahce, according to the Turkish club.

No details of the deal were revealed by Fenerbahce, who said in a statement: "We have signed a contract with Lille striker Moussa Sow that will tie him to the club until 2016."

It was reported that the 26-year-old would undergo a medical on Friday. Sow told the club website: "There were of course a lot of teams interested but this was the club I really wanted to join.

"I'm very happy. As soon as I arrived I was very happy to see the excitement here. I'm looking forward to playing in front of Fenerbahce fans."

Reports in Africa suggest Sow has agreed a contract worth €3.2 million (almost £2.7 million) a year with Fenerbahce. Sow finished as the top goalscorer in Ligue 1 last season, firing 25 goals as Lille won the title.

Defeats in their opening two games mean Senegal's participation in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations will end after Sunday's game against Libya.
