Toluca came from behind to maintain their unbeaten start to the Mexican Clausura season with a 2-1 home win over Tigres Monterrey.

Hector Mancilla had given the visitors a 24th-minute lead from the penalty spot, but the hosts levelled on the stroke of half-time through Nestor Calderon, and then Ivan Alonso grabbed the winner three minutes after the interval. The result moved Toluca onto seven points from three games and top of the fledgling standings.

Fourth-placed Atlante also picked up their second victory of the campaign with a 2-1 triumph at winless Puebla. A goal in each half from Osvaldo Martinez and Andres Mendoza put the away team in control, and they held on despite Luis Garcia's late consolation.
