Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is set for a spell on the sidelines after being diagnosed with a sprained ankle.

The Germany international suffered the injury during last night's Copa del Rey quarter-final win over Malaga. Khedira underwent tests which concluded he had sprained his right ankle.
