Olympiacos go clear, AEK stumble
Olympiacos are four points clear at the top of the Super League table after they beat Giannina and AEK Athens lost to Atromitos tonight.
First-half goals from David Fuster and Rafik Djebbour were enough to earn Olympiacos a 2-0 win, while Stelios Sfakianakis' goal condemned AEK to a 1-0 defeat.
As a result, Olympiacos head to Christmas on 33 points with AEK five adrift of them in third. Panathinaikos are second on 29 after having played two games less.
PAOK Salonika are fifth after a 2-0 win at Doxa Dramas, Dimitris Salpingidis and Giorgis Fotakis doing the damage, while elsewhere, OFI Crete and Kerkyra and Aris Salonika and Panetolikos all played out 0-0 draws.
