Gold Coast United ended their six-game winless run with a 3-0 victory in their bottom-of-the-table clash at Adelaide United.

First-half goals from Ben Halloran and Maceo Rigters set the visitors on their way and, while defender Ante Rozic saw red on 78 minutes, Dylan Macallister confirmed a much-needed win when he ghosted behind some more lacklustre defending in injury time.

Gold Coast's win moves them a point behind the Reds, who were booed off by their own fans after they failed to score at home for a club record third consecutive match.

The hosts' only reason for cheer came with the 63rd-minute introduction of 15-year-old midfielder Teeboy Kamara, who became the youngest player to appear in the A-League.

At 15 years and 212 days Australia U-17 international Kamara, who left Liberia with his family when he was six, beat the previous record of 16 years and 180 days held by Newcastle Jets youngster James Virgili.
