Fenerbahce maintained their three-point lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig with a 4-2 home win over Ankaragucu.

The teams were level at half-time after Miroslav Stoch's opener for the hosts was cancelled out by Murat Duruer, but Cristian Baroni re-established Fener's lead seven minutes after the restart.

Stoch scored his second six minutes later and substitute Issiar Dia (88) settled their nerves late on after Ankaragucu had threatened a comeback through Ergin Keles (83).

Galatasaray stayed within three points of the leaders in second as Emmanuel Eboue's 71st-minute strike gave them a 1-0 win at Genclerbirligi.

There was also much-needed 1-0 win for struggling Gaziantepspor, who saw off Samsunspor thanks to Muhammet Demir's effort nine minutes from time.
