Chasing pack close on Fener
The chasing pack continued to close on Super Lig leaders Fenerbahce as Manisaspor, Istanbul Buyuksehir and Besiktas all won today.
Fener were held 0-0 by Genclerbirligi on Friday and saw Galatasaray beat Sivasspor last night to move within three points. That feat was emulated tonight by Manisaspor, with Murat Edrogan's early goal enough to secure all three points against Kayserispor.
Istanbul Buyuksehir are a further point back in fourth after Francisco Lima Madureira's brace helped them to a 3-1 win over Gaziantepspor. Cihan Haspolatli scored their other goal while Olcan Adin cut the deficit to 2-1.
Besiktas also moved within four points of the summit after downing Trabzonspor 1-0 thanks to Ricardo Quaresma's 78th-minute penalty.
Diego Angelo scored a last-minute winner as Eskisehirspor beat Ankaragucu 3-2. The hosts had led 2-0 through Diomansy Kamara and an Ozgur Cek own goal only for Atilla Aybars Garhan and substitute Ergin Keles to draw Ankara level.
