Michael Chretien's first goal in over four years helped Bursaspor overcome struggling Samsunspor 1-0 at the Bursa Ataturk Stadium tonight.

The Moroccan defender scored the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute after the visitors' Nigerian striker Simon Zenke had been sent off seven minutes earlier for a second bookable offence.

Bursaspor's win is enough to lift them into the top eight of the Super Lig, while Samsunspor remain second bottom of the table with just one win from 11 games to date.
