Racing Club reclaimed second place in Argentina's Apertura with a 1-0 home win over struggling Argentinos Juniors.

Giovanni Moreno got the only goal of the game ten minutes into the second half to move Racing back above Atletico Rafaela.

Tigre moved up to fourth with a 2-1 defeat of Colon Santa Fe. Carlos Luna opened the scoring in the 37th minute and substitute Javier Carrasco doubled the advantage in the 74th minute.

Although Ivan Moreno y Fabianesi pulled a goal back immediately, the visitors were unable to find an equaliser.
