Lucerne were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Zurich tonight which prevented them from taking top spot in the Swiss Super League.

Substitute Hakan Yakin made an immediate impact, firing Lucerne in front in the 73rd minute moments after coming off the bench. However, Mathieu Meda equalised four minutes later to ensure the points were shared. The result sees Lucerne join leaders Basel on 28 points, but remain second on goal difference.

Young Boys are three points off the top two after a 4-1 victory over bottom-side Lausanne Sports. Goals from Emmanuel Mayuka and Alexander Farnerud put the hosts in the driving seat before Matt Moussilou replied seven minutes before half-time.

Jan Lecjaks restored Young Boys' two-goal advantage after 72 minutes, however, with Mayuka adding another four minutes later to wrap up the win.

Goals from Ishmael Yartey and Goran Karanovic gave Servette a 2-1 win at home to Neuchatel Xamax, who had gone ahead through Kalu Uche.
