Trabzonspor climbed up to second in the Turkish Super Lig standings after claiming a last-gasp 1-0 victory over Gaziantepspor.

Halil Altintop struck the only goal of the game in the 90th minute to help Trabzonspor move into the top two above Orduspor, who were held to a 1-1 draw at Antalyaspor today.

Orduspor took the lead through Sedat Bayrak in the sixth minute, but they conceded a 75th-minute equaliser to Mehmet Boyraz and were then left facing a nervy final few minutes after losing Yalcin Ayhan to an 87th-minute red card.

The ten men of Orduspor held on for a draw, but it was not enough to keep them in second spot as Trabzonspor joined them on 16 points, two behind leaders Fenerbahce, who have a game in hand.

In today's other game, a ninth-minute goal from Alper Potuk was enough for Eskisehirspor to defeat second-bottom Samsunspor.
