Mariners end Glory run, Sydney nick draw
Perth Glory suffered their first defeat of the season as Central Coast Mariners came from a goal down to pick up their first win with a 2-1 triumph at Bluetongue Stadium.
Perth were aiming for a fourth consecutive victory and made a great start when Travis Dodd headed home Scott Neville's cross from the right.
However, the hosts hit back in the 27th minute when Pedj Bojic fed Matt Simon and he fired home.
Central Coast then grabbed what proved to be the winner on the stroke of half-time when Simon's shot was parried by keeper Danny Vukovic and Bernie Ibini-Isei converted the rebound.
Nick Carle's injury-time goal saw Sydney FC grab a 1-1 draw against Melbourne Heart at AAMI Park.
Melbourne took the lead with just five minutes to go when Maycon fired home from inside the box, but Carle finished off Pascal Bosschaart's cross in stoppage time to snatch a point for the visitors.
