Philippe Mexes hopes to make his first appearance with AC Milan against Palermo on Saturday.
The 29-year-old joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer from Roma this summer, but has been sidelined ever since.
The France defender, who has been out of action for six months with a knee injury, is set to return to play this weekend.
"I'm 100% and I will be at the San Siro to play against Palermo," Mexes told Corriere dello Sport.
Milan have endured a slow start to the campaign having mustered just five points from their opening five league games.
"It has been a difficult time but I'm sure we will pick ourselves up," Mexes said.
Milan lost 2-0 at Juventus last time out and lie 15th in the standings.
