Juventus coach Antonio Conte is not getting carried away by his team's positive start to the Serie A campaign.

Two late goals from Claudio Marchisio handed I Bianconeri a 2-0 win over defending champions AC Milan last night to put them joint top of the standings, level on points with Udinese, heading into the international break.

"The players gave an important performance," Conte said. "I have to compliment them because they played and they won as a team.

We remain students that have taken a path and, based on what we did against Milan, it is the right one.

"We knew that in order to win these types of games, you have to play united. We have to forget about the praise we have received because had we lost against Milan, we would have been massacred by the media.

"Now that we have won, nothing changes. We have a long way to go.

"We remain students that have taken a path and, based on what we did against Milan, it is the right one. The will, sacrifice and determination is there."

Juve, now unbeaten in their last five Serie A games, visit Chievo after the international break before hosting Genoa in Turin on 23 October.
