Philadelphia Union closed to the gap to Major League Soccer Eastern Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City to one point with a 3-2 win over DC United on Thursday.
Sebastien Le Toux scored twice for the Union with Michael Farfan getting the other goal.
DC found themselves 2-0 down early in the game before Dwayne De Rosario and Andy Najar scored to bring things level before half-time. Farfan's goal in the second half settled matters.
