Bayer Leverkusen coach Robin Dutt insists teamwork is the key to getting his side back on track after last night's 2-0 win over Genk provided the first step in the right direction.
Dutt had come in for criticism from his club's fans after last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Bayern Munich followed a 4-1 loss at home to Cologne in the Bundesliga.
However, he said that only the fans are murmuring and that nobody within the club has any complaints. Rather, he is convinced that everybody is pulling in the same direction.
"What impresses me most about the team is that they don't just reject things that they may see differently but rather communicate it," he explained to Sky.
"We are trying to find solutions together and I am having to do a few things here a bit differently to the way I am used to doing things.
"But I am not stubborn. The team comes to me with any issues and I go to them too.
"It is a very comfortable climate and I think today's victory is a result of the communication within the team."
A goal from Michael Ballack was the icing on the cake of last night's first UEFA Champions League victory of the season. "I am delighted for Michael," said Dutt. "He took his goal really well."
