Veteran American goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has joined Everton on a short-term deal, the Premier League side confirmed Friday.

The 39-year-old  goalkeeper has signed with the Toffees until January after being released by Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this year.

Hahnemann, capped nine times by USA, has been hired as back-up to compatriot Tim Howard and Jan Mucha.
