Francisco Sandaza scored his sixth goal in four games as St. Johnstone continued their impressive away record with a 3-0 victory against a disjointed Motherwell this afternoon.

Sandaza wrapped up three points when he pounced on Stevie Hammell's poor pass to put Saints two ahead with 15 minutes left. The visitors had looked comfortable after Tim Clancy's 20th-minute own goal and further extended their lead through Liam Craig.

Hearts extended their unbeaten run to five games with a 2-0 triumph over St. Mirren at a sun-kissed Tynecastle. Paulo Sergio's side moved to within a point of third-placed Motherwell in the table after a penalty from Jamie Hamill and an own goal from Lee Mair.

Aberdeen battled back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against Kilmarnock in an engrossing encounter at Pittodrie. A diving header from Paul Heffernan and a cool finish from Dean Shiels put Killie two ahead, before Andrew Considine pulled a goal back after a mistake by Cameron Bell with 37 minutes gone.

The Dons equalised nine minutes after the restart when Youl Mawene headed home Kari Arnason's long throw into the box, and looked the more likely to go on and take all three points but were unable to find a winner.

Dunfermline hold Hibs
Hibernian also let slip a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against Dunfermline at East End Park. Ivan Sproule gave the visitors the interval lead, with a 37th-minute strike, which striker Garry O'Connor doubled six minutes after the break.

However, Pars midfielder Ryan Thomson pulled a goal back a minute later before Easter Road defender Paul Hanlon appeared to deflect Jason Thomson's effort into his own net to hand the Fifers a share of the spoils.

Dundee United claimed their first home win of the season but were made to work hard for their 3-1 victory by Inverness Caledonian Thistle. A first goal in United colours for on-loan Fulham striker Lauri Dalla Valle after 13 minutes put them in front against the run of play.

Nick Ross equalised in the 16th minute, but a mistake by Roman Golobart allowed Danny Swanson to restore the hosts' lead after 43 minutes. United made sure of the triumph in the 69th minute, Jon Daly coming off the bench to score his fourth goal of the campaign.
